Two Truths and a Lie

This game is for self-introduction. Write three sentences about yourself. Two are true, but one is a lie! Then read them to your friends. Your friends will guess which sentence is a lie.

Hanami - Spring at Obirin

Hello past, current, and future Japan Fellows. It's great to see this forum up and running! The 桜 (sakura - cherry blossoms) are blooming this week around 桜美林 (Obirin). We celebrated hanami as our first Shansi-kai. The Gotoh family, Ebara family, Malcolm Hoshi, Akiko Hayashi, Yoshie Fueki, and I attended. We look forward to many more Shansi-related parties in the future. Maybe the next one will be a BBQ?! Here's to spring in Japan. Cheers!

I used this website constantly. I think everyone should know it. Kim Faber definitely showed it to my group of outgoing fellows. It was very useful for my lesson planning.

So if you are planning a trip to Laos and are interested in checking out the Plain of Jars and plan on staying in Phonsovan, I highly recommend staying at the Khong Guest House. Mr. Khong is usually at the bus station himself with a sign and his jeep. The guest house's have a variety of prices depending on the perks you want, but what really makes this place special is Mr. Khong himself.
